Daily AI Assistant ("the app") is a personal AI assistant app for iOS and Android. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. The app is built and operated by an individual developer, not a company; contact details are at the bottom of this page.
You sign in with your Google account. We receive your name, email address and profile photo from Google for the purpose of authenticating you and identifying your data within the app. We do not receive or store your Google password.
Everything you enter or the assistant creates on your behalf is stored under your account only:
This data is stored in Google Firestore, scoped strictly to your account. It is never visible to or accessible by other users of the app.
If you choose to connect Google Calendar from the app's menu, we request permission to read events from calendars you own or can edit, and to create new events on your primary calendar. This is entirely optional and off by default. You can disconnect at any time from the same menu, which revokes the app's access to your Google Calendar immediately. We only read/write calendar data to power the app's own features (showing you your schedule, adding events you ask for) — we do not use this data for advertising, and it is never sold or shared with third parties.
Speech-to-text and text-to-speech happen using your device's own operating system (Apple Speech framework on iOS, the platform speech APIs on Android). We do not record or store audio.
Your tasks, events, reminders and memories are used to build context that is sent to Anthropic's Claude API so the assistant can respond to you and take the actions you ask for (like creating a task or reminder). Anthropic processes this data as our AI service provider and does not use it to train models on our behalf. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
You can delete individual tasks, events, reminders and memories from within the app at any time. You can disconnect Google Calendar access at any time. To request deletion of your full account data, email us at the address below.
Data is retained as long as your account is active, or until you delete it yourself or request account deletion.
This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
